Welcome to SOC Party Training

Welcome! The purpose of this blog is to stay up-to-date on the best tips and training to make your SOC home parties soar. Let's take this awesome product to the streets!!!!

Please note: this is not company sponsored. This is meant to help us move forward with the party plan until the company finishes developing the tools.

Start with the FEBRUARY POSTS first.

3/13/10

Third: Send Out Postcard Invitations

IMPORTANT:
Coach your hostess to give you her guest list (in the excel spreadsheet) 2 weeks prior to her party. This allows a few days for mailing time and AT LEAST a weeks advance for the guests.

FIRST:
Your spreadsheet is almost ready. All you have to do now is create a new GROUP on your SendOutCards account called "Jane Doe Party" and label your spreadsheet group the same. Then follow the tutorial on how to upload your contacts from the Excel spreadsheet. You can find this tutorial at the bottom of your Contact Manager page and you can also call customer service if you have questions. Once you have uploaded contacts a couple of times it becomes very easy!

SECOND:
Create a Campaign postcard called "Home Party Invite" with the following information:

You're Invited to a
SOCBox party!

Date: March 4, 2010
Time: 7:00 pm
Place: 111 S. Johnson Ave
Pocatello, ID 83204
Host: Jane Doe
Rsvp: 111-1234

Pick a Card * personalize it
We Print and Send

You won't want to miss this!

Once this campaign is created, for future parties you only need to update your hostess information (name, address, phone, etc.) and click save campaign. Make sure you do this BEFORE you send the campaign :)

THIRD:
Now go to your Contact Manager, choose your group "Jane Doe Party" and click find contacts. All of the contacts will be selected (box checked on the left). Now at the top of the page find the campaign you would like to send, in this case "Home Party Invite". Then directly to the left click "Send campaign to checked".

Great Job! You just sent out multiple invitation with the click of a button! Another reason why we LOVE SendOutCards System!!!

I always visit my "cards sent" and view one of the postcard invitations. This is just to make for certain the campaign is going to print correctly and successfully!
