Party Presentation

As most of you know I use a DVD Powerpoint presentation at my parties.  With the current changes and so many options with PP2.0 I'm rethinking my presentation.  I really like the new video and plan to play that as an introduction at the party.  I may make a new DVD presentation, but it will take a little time to decide how to showcase the great options we have.  I, now more than ever, would just like to hook my laptop up to the TV and have wireless internet to showcase the product.  It's not easy to duplicate though. . . any one else have ideas better than these?

Changes, Changes, Changes. . . YAY!!!

The new changes mean great things for our party plan.  Let me explain. . .

Almost every customer and hostess wanted a Retail package for the ability to send gifts, but some did not buy because of the $99 price tag upfront.  So here we are now with the ability to send gifts on a SocBox account!  My sister was jumping for joy, and even I haven't told my customers yet, they will be so excited.  I was waiting for the feature to be fully functional before I start calling past guests and current customers.  I had 3 past hostesses who wanted to know when they could upgrade (with a discount) to send gifts.  So this also opens up more business for us, more to offer.  Here are the ways you can create more business with your SOC Party.

1.  Call past guests who wanted the ability to send gifts but not the $99 price tag.

2.  Call current customers who have the SocBox and let them know of this new feature and also the PP 2.0 offer. 

3.  Call past hostesses, ask them to hold another party and offer them the ability to earn a gift card (from SOC) they can use on gift items for themselves or others.

4.  Call everyone on your list, even those that said no before; now you have something even greater to offer hostesses and their guests.  Get booking more parties!!!

There will be more to come as we explore the Online Party.  It is a new concept and it's in it's infancy (haven't done one yet). I have a party starting this week, so the results will be out in two weeks.  .  . stay tuned!  Try this out yourself and post your results.  We may be on to something.

When you create this invitation as a campaign, make sure you update the return address (on the campaign page) to be your hostess.  That makes this card look like it comes from the hostess, not the distributor.

Online Party Step 1: The Hostess

Have your hostess fill out the excel spreadsheet guest list but this time have her include phone numbers!
Remember, she can invite friends, family, co-workers, etc from anywhere in the world. Wow this really opens up the option of having many more guests participate!  I can just see my contact list grow!

Presenting the Online Party

Follow along, this is how it works!

LAST: FOLLOWUP and close the party

Whew!  You made it through your first SOC party.  Not bad!  When you go home these are the things you now need to do.

1.  Collect your contact sheets into a pile, binder, folder, etc.
2. Take note of those guests who booked parties and start the process again from the beginning.

3.  Create an email that sounds something like this:

Dear Ladies,

Thank you for attending Patricia’s SendOutCards party.  I hope you had an enjoyable time. I enjoyed being in your company, you are a wonderful group of women!  As promised you can all send a FREE greeting card before the party closes on March 21st.  Turn up your volume on the computer, click on this link www.sendoutcards.com/mail and click on my picture.  You will be guided through a tutorial on how to send a card, please call me if you have any questions.  I look forward to following up with you.  Thank you again for your time.

Now FOLLOWUP!  Watch for your email alerts when guests open their Gift Accounts.  Call that person and ask, "What do you think?  Do you have any questions or need help? At what level are you interested?" They may choose at this time to host their own party, make sure they know it is an option.


If they aren't ready to buy at the time move them to a followup date in your binder (or whatever followup system you use) that is a good time for THEM.


If there are guests that couldn't attend the party let your hostess know she can forward the email onto those friends for a free GA.  Give everyone an opportunity during that one week to send a free card.  You will have sales come from this technique.


When the close date comes, tally the points the hostess has earned.  Then she can SPEND according to the hostess rewards program (see hostess rewards program post or brochure for information).


Now remember, right now we are paying out of pocket for the hostess rewards.  Hang in there because the company WILL BE supporting a hostess rewards program in the future.  We are pioneering something new for the company and we need to work with what we have at the moment.  But it's worth it.  It's only going to get better!
